Military at SNU

We are here to serve you. Let us be your navigator as you determine your next steps in pursuing your academic, career, and life goals.

Speak with someone knowledgeable who has also walked your walk in the military. At SNU, we have Mark, Ruben, and Krista who together have 40 years combined military service and 3 combat tours. We also have Crystal who has over 4 years as a military spouse. They understand.

Whether you choose to attend SNU or choose another route, our Vets Team wants to help you know what veteran and military benefits are available to you and use them with the most efficiency and effectiveness. Plus, our Vets Team wants to share a cup of coffee with you on their front porch and thank you for your service to our nation! That's right! At SNU we have a dedicated house where veterans can come to study, relax between classes and/or work, get some refreshments, and spend time with other veterans and military family members.

Check us out and come to SNU, tour our campus, and schedule a visit with our VETS Center staff to meet with one of our certifying officers for a personal review of your benefits and to discuss opportunities that await you and your family!  Before calling or visiting our VETS Center, we suggest you gather your:

• Medical records
• Immunization records
• Joint service transcript
• DD-214
• Certificate of eligibility
