This course will investigate the ethical foundations of businesses using examples and case studies from all aspects of business including how business is owned, organized, managed, and controlled. Marketing, management, banking, securities, insurance, government regulations, and international business are surveyed with an emphasis on ethical issues documented in each area.

This course is an introduction to leadership. It will explore the different theories of leadership, the different styles of leadership, and the different skills that are necessary for effective leadership. The course will also focus on the importance of personal strengths, the value of understanding others, and the intersections of cultural responsiveness and leadership.

This course is a study of the basic principles of accounting: cycle, statements, accounting systems, and payroll.

Classical, behavioral, and management science schools are considered. Experiential exercise, computer gaming, and contemporary reading are included in course requirements.

This course provides an overview of macroeconomic and microeconomic concepts. A study of the American economic system including exchange, inflation, unemployment, and monetary policy, and an exploration of economic principles related to supply/demand, market elasticity, and international trade.

Felecia Moriels is the Director of General Education for Professional Studies, Program Director of the Associates of Arts in Business, and an Assistant Professor within the School of Professional and Graduate Studies. Felecia’s areas of expertise are entrepreneurship and business management, professional development, leadership and training, transformational programming, and student mentorship. Felecia has worked in Title lll as the Title llI-Specialist, advised the Student Society for Women, serves on several Academic Committees and Councils, and is currently in the Doctorate of Education Leadership and Administration program at SNU.
As a small business owner in Oklahoma City for the past 26+ years, before transitioning to higher education, Felecia received the African American Woman Entrepreneur in the Greater Oklahoma City Metropolis Award in 2014, was certified in Leadership Development Training in 2019, is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, the Junior League of Oklahoma City, and serves in leadership roles and volunteers with civic organizations such as the Links, Incorporated and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated to mentor high school and college students documenting as many as 400+ service hours a year.
Felecia uses her professional skills as a ministry to encourage and empower men, women, and young adults. Her motto is: “Be yourself, Look yourself, Feel yourself, Speak yourself… just be YOU!”
