Prior Learning Assessment

You might not have been in a classroom, but your work experiences taught you just as much as any teacher. As you work to complete your Bachelor’s degree, you can earn college credit for your experiences, and we’ll help fill in the gaps with accelerated, flexible courses that meet your needs.

As a degree-seeking student, you can earn as many as 30 hours of college credit through our comprehensive Prior Learning Assessment program. And at Southern Nazarene University, we don’t believe you should have to pay extra for what you already know. Other schools may charge up to the full-tuition rate just for putting these hours on your transcript. At SNU, this service is included in the overall cost of the program regardless of how many hours you earn.
